Des Moines E 14th Street Exit Closure

The westbound 80/35 exit near our Des Moines Shop is expected to be closed until November 17 for bridge work. We have found that the most truck-friendly route to get to our Des Moines Shop for any westbound I-80 traffic is to take I-35 north to the Corporate Woods Drive exit and get to our Shop the back way. Similarly, any southbound I-35 traffic will also take this exit. See map for details.
 
Detours are suggesting going west an additional exit, getting back on I-80 eastbound, and then taking the eastbound exit for E 14th Street. We have found that is not ideal for truck traffic.
