FLEET MANAGER APPRECIATION WEEK WRAP-UP:
I’m sure you will all agree, It was a lot of fun celebrating all our wonderful Fleet Managers this week. From the Directors’ comments, to co-workers’ comments, to Drivers’ comments, it’s been very heartwarming to hear all the stories and kind words about each Fleet Manager. This whole idea stemmed from Drivers telling the Communications Team that their Fleet Managers need to be celebrated. If that tells you anything, it’s that Drivers love and appreciate their Fleet Managers just as much as we love and appreciate our Drivers! If you haven’t been keeping up on Facebook…there have been so many touching comments from Drivers, co-workers, family and friends. Make sure you take a look at them; they will surely brighten your day!
We are very excited to report that your new GeoTab tablets are still in the works – we currently have approximately 50 installations complete. We are still working through a few small issues – – but rest assured, this new communication, ELD and navigation device will be an amazing tool for you and DTL.
In the short time that we have been working with GeoTab, we are already realizing that this device is a much better product than Omnitracs; and their service is top-notch too. We are very confident that this transition will be a huge benefit for everyone.
We will continue to move forward with the installation process and will also continue to train all Drivers and pertinent office and shop personnel so this transition will be very smooth. You will receive your new tablet and training in the near future!
CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST:
Today is the final day for all you Drivers to send in your photos for the 2021 Decker Calendar. The enthusiasm for this project has been outstanding! On Monday, the TCA Communications Action Team will go through all the submissions and are to have their top choices picked out by Thursday. On Thursday, the Team will bring their picks to their weekly meeting and the top 12 photos will be selected that will be featured in the 2021 Decker calendar. Jesse Butler will announce the winners on her Facebook Live on Monday, November 2nd. The 12 Drivers will have their photo showcased in our calendar and will receive a Decker Truck Wash Certificate.
